Iran, India to strengthen trade relations


(MENAFN) The deputy head of Tehran's Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture for international affairs said that Iran plans to strengthen trade relations with India to facilitate banking transactions, according to Iran Daily. Bilateral trade between the two countries reached USD15 billion, while oil deals reached USD10 billion. Non-oil exports valued at USD2.5 billion in 2011,2012. Mohammad Reza Bakhtiari said: "The two nations have prioritized the construction of power plants, roads, railroads, refineries and petrochemical industries."
