Shanghai home buying sentiment up, still slow

(MENAFN) Home buying sentiment in Shanghai remained sluggish last week, as sales were below the 300,000 square meters mark, Xinhua reported. New home sales last week increased 5.3 percent from the week before it as 273,100 square meters were sold, staying below the 300,000 mark. A Deovolente researcher said: "Market momentum started to ease since the local government issued further tightening policies on November 8, triggering a wait-and-see sentiment among home seekers."
