Sudan, Eritrea Agree to Develop Mutual Tourism


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir and his Eritrean counterpart Isaias Afewerki on Monday discussed means of developing mutual tourism between the two countries so as to support both economies. The two leaders agreed to jointly cooperate in several areas, including the signing of agreements on developing land and air transport, Sudanese Minister of Tourism Mohamed Abdel Karim said after the meeting He announced the establishment of specialized company to maximize tourism between the Sudanese and Eritrean cities in addition to opening more roads that link the two countries Abdel Karim added that the two heads of state agreed to exchange expertise and training in the field of tourism.
