Saudi Maaden grants USD600 m contract


(MENAFN) Maaden, the Saudi Arabia Mining Co., has granted a USD600 million contract, as part of a USD7 billion program to construct a phosphate plant at Ras Al Khair, according to Arab News. The plan aims to improve the Kingdom's economy, and develop the industrial city, Waad Al-Shimal City for Mining Industries, in the north of the Kingdom The joint venture was made between Maaden, Saudi Basic Industries Corp. and Mosaic for the Umm Wual project.
