(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Khalfan al Mahrazy, senior member of the leading community knowledge sharing platform, Knowledge Oman, has been selected to attend the International Visitor Leadership Programme in Washington DC, United States of America from February 22 to March 14.

I have been exposed to many different challenges, projects and learning in Knowledge Oman that would normally require more years from any other organization. I look forward to attending the international visitor leadership program in US to share our knowledge and experience operating a leading community organization in the sultanate,'' said Mahrazy .
The regional International Visitor Leadership Programme hosts emerging leaders and participants from the Middle East and North African region coming together to meet, discuss and exchange ideas pertaining to critical subjects that include society development and innovation. The programme attracts professionals from around the world to the United States each year for a consecutive three weeks of the program and practical field visits Tariq Hilal al Barwani, founder and president of Knowledge Oman, said ''We create and promote leaders in Knowledge Oman.
For the past five years since launch, we had four members sponsored for international leadership scholarships and a number of our team members head-hunted by reputable local companies for the amazing contribution they do for the community. We are proud to be the organization of talent in the country.'' Knowledge Oman has been awarded for outstanding contribution to the cause of education at the World Human Resource Development (HRD) Congress 2012 for its contribution and impact generated in its mission of spreading and promoting knowledge across the sultanate.<
