US job openings up 1.8 percent in Sept.

New Jobs during the month went up to 3.913 million, registering a 1.8 percent increase from the 3.844 million in August. The unemployment rate in the US came at 7.3 percent last month, with the number of unemployed US citizens totaling at 11.3 million, a separate report by the Labor Department shows.
