UAE to host Summit on the Global Agenda 2014


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) In line with the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the UAE will host the Summit on the Global Agenda from November 9 to 11, 2014, to be attended by more than 1,000 experts from around the world. Mohammad Al Gergawi, UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs, said that the directives of Shaikh Mohammed focused on providing and dedicating all facilities to make the event, which will be hosted for the seventh consecutive year in the UAE, a major success. "The UAE's support and collaboration has been critical in helping the Global Agenda Councils become the world's foremost network of experts and thinkers. I am confident that next year's summit in Dubai will enable councils to reach new levels of accomplishment as they seek answers to the most world's most challenging and complex issues," said Klaus Schwab, founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum. "The strategic role played by the UAE in discussing global challenges and finding ideal solutions on various global issues highlights the leading position the country has achieved under the wise leadership globally," added Al Gergawi.
