(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Sudanese Minister of Oil Dr. Awad Ahmed Al-Jaz has urged oil companies working in Sudan to speed up the production process down to maximum capacity, stressing the importance of implementing this directive so as oil can be a largely supportive element to the economy and development of the country .
This came during an inspection tour he paid to the sixth oil square , under concession by the Petro Energy company for petroleum operations. He revealed that his ministry has set timetables for oil companies to increase production capacities and meet the challenges to achieve the objectives of accelerating package programme to increase oil production.
