Germany's Economy Grows 0.3% in Q3


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Germany's economy slowed down in the third quarter despite an in corporate investment, Germany's statistics office said Friday. German news agency DPA said that Europe's biggest economy expanded by 0.3%, compared to the previous quarter. The second quarter had seen an 0.7% increase compared to the first quarter of 2013. The office said in a statement that positive contributions that were made in the third quarter were a result of domestic demand. There was also an 0.5% year-on-year increase in investment in machinery and equipment.
