(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton met for a sixth time in Geneva during the past three days, Irna News Agency reported today.
According to an agreement reached between Iran and the six world powers, in this round of nuclear talks the members of the Iranian nuclear negotiation team, Mohammad Javad Zarif, deputy foreign ministers Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht Ravanchi, will only talk with Mrs. Ashton, who represents America, Russia, Britain, France, China, and Germany in the talks. This third meeting since President Hassan Rohani's election in June is seen as the biggest hope in years to resolve the decade-old standoff over Iran's nuclear program, according to IRNA.
