Household spending in S.Korea registers slow increase


(MENAFN) A report by the South Korean government shows that household spending in the country increased at a pace slower than income regardless of the economic recovery, Xinhuanet reported. The average income of households with more than two family members in a month went up 2.9 percent to USD4,000 in the third quarter. The growth in income increased from 1.7 percent in the first quarter and 2.5 percent in the second quarter , making the growth rate in the third quarter the highest in three quarters.
