Six Mortar Shells Fall Near Saudi Border


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Six mortar shells fell in an uninhabited area near the new al-Auja border guard center of Hafr al-Batin in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, but caused no damage, media spokesman for the Saudi Arabia's border guard General Mohammed al-Ghamdi said. Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted al-Ghamdi as saying that there was a direct contact with border guards of neighbouring countries to take necessary measures to determine the source of mortar fire and prevent it recurring.
