Deposits in Saudi banks at USD359 b in 9 months


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia's banks have registered a strong financial system among the global crisis as they gained profits in the current year's first nine months, according to Arab News. High level of liquidity in the domestic market was the reason behind high performance of the banks, analysts believe. Total deposits increased 14.1 percent by the end of September compared to the same period 2012 reaching USD359 billion.
