60,000 illegal workers deported from KSA in 3 weeks

(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia has deported over 60,000 illegal workers in three weeks, which is double the previously reported figure, Arabian Business reported. The government gave illegal workers in the Kingdom a six-month amnesty to rectify their status. During this period, around four million workers complied. An additional one million workers took advantage of the amnesty and left the country, while thousands remained, claiming they lack proper documents to legalize their status.
