Infrastructure projects in Jeddah cost USD238.7 m


(MENAFN) Thirteen infrastructure projects will be completed in Jeddah this Hijri year at a total cost of USD238.6 million, Saudi Gazette reported. The projects underway include the construction of six bridge and underpass projects, costing a total of USD145.4 million, that aim at reducing the traffic congestion in the city. Several projects of asphalting, lighting, and pavement work in northern, eastern and southern Jeddah are being implemented at a total cost of USD53.2 million. Other projects, such as drainage, linking irrigation network with the sewage treatment plant and two projects for replacing cables, come at a total cost of USD40 million.
