Rain, hail likely across Oman, says PACA

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily)   Heavy rains, accompanied by thunder, strong winds and hail are likely over the sultanate in the coming days.

Latest satellite images and weather charts have indicated a deep low pressure centered on the northern Arabian Peninsula.

According to a Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) statement issued on Tuesday, the  influence of this low pressure will be seen in the sultanate from Thursday and is likely to continue till Sunday.

The state of seas is expected to be rough to moderate. PACA also issued an advisory calling for caution. People have been asked to avoid low-lying areas and wadis.

Sea-farers have been asked not to venture into sea without updating themselves on latest forecasts.
