Zurich Insurance Group plans USD1 b investment in green bonds


(MENAFN) Zurich Insurance Group announced plans to invest USD1 billion in multiple projects that aim to reduce the effects of climate change, The Peninsula reported. The insurer said that it plans to invest in green bonds by the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation and other development institutions, making it the largest investor in green bonds. These bonds go to fund projects that aim at reducing the effects of climate change and help communities to adapt to its impact.
