Imported car vehicles sales in Philippines up 16.3 percent in Oct.


(MENAFN) Imported vehicles sales in the Philippines increased last month by 16.3 percent from the same month in 2012, selling 2,589 units, Xinhuanet reported. The Association of Vehicle Importers and Distributors, Inc. (AVID) said that the increased sales in October were a result of a 31.4 percent increase in light commercial vehicles sales. AVID said that the total number of imported cars sold in the country increased by 6 percent in the first 10 months to 25,374 units.
