Jordan, Britain Discuss Economic Cooperation


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Jordanian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Ibrahim Saif on Saturday discussed with British Minister of State for International Development Alan Duncan economic cooperation and ways to boost ties between the two countries. During the meeting, Saif spoke about the economic hardships faced by Jordan and the humanitarian repercussions of the Syrian crisis and regional unrest, said the official News Agency (Petra) The minister highlighted the impact of hosting large numbers of Syrian refugees on Jordan's economy and infrastructure He voiced hope for better cooperation and coordination between Jordan and the United Kingdom to address these challenges and hardships.
