(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs (MECA) has issued month-long suspension notice to a construction company in Dakhliyah for working without having obtained environmental permits.
The suspension shall be renewed for similar period if the violation continued, a press release said.
MECA?also issued a similar notice to a Muscat company. Furthermore, another decision has been issued to renew the suspension on construction work in an oil factory in South Sharqiyah for a month.
The ministry has said it will step up efforts towards pollution control and check violation of environmental norms by companies.
