Dubai delegation attends Sri Lanka fair


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The delegation includes seven members from the Sri Lanka Business Council in Dubai was led by Obaid G Almutawei, chairman of Almutawei Investment and coordinated by Farook Kassim, chairman, Sri Lanka Business Council. Al Mutaiwie has more than forty years of experience in Dubai, GCC and Globally. He is a visionary and recognised early that education is cornerstone for any country to succeed, he has partnered with several universities in UK, bringing Middlesex University to Dubai, Greenwich University to Sri Lanka and Buckingham University to Kenya. He is Chairman of Al Mutaiwei Investments. One of few rare investors who has invested in Sri Lanka even without visiting the island. A three-member delegation from Fujairah Chamber of Commerce also participated in the Reflection of Sri Lanka 2013. Mahinda Balasuriya, Ambassador of Sri Lanka in UAE and Abdul Raheem, Consul General of Sri Lanka in Dubai met members of the business community in Dubai and encouraged their participation at the event.
