(MENAFN- Arab Times) Unknown person broke the glass of a vehicle belonging to a Kuwaiti woman at the parking lot of a commercial complex in Hawalli area and made away with KD 280 cash plus mobile phone, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Security sources said the woman left her handbag containing KD 280 cash and mobile phone in the vehicle and went to the commercial complex.
To her surprise, the sideglass of the vehicle was smashed and the aforementioned sum and item stolen when she returned. She notified the Operations Room without delay and Criminal Evidences Men rushed to the scene and lifted fingerprint to trail the suspect. The woman told the officers that she saw three youths in sports wear loitering at the parking lot.
Meanwhile, an Egyptian expatriate filed a case in Farwaniya police station against an unknown person of stealing a laptop from his vehicle which was parked in front of his house in the same area. A case was registered, reports Al- Seyassah daily.
