Saudi Electricity to issue sukuk
(MENAFN) Sources said that Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) plans to issue Islamic bonds in riyals and dollars in the following months, The Peninsula reported.
The company needs fund-raising as it aims to expand it power generation capacity due the increasing power demand in the kingdom.
SEC has decided to arrange the sukuk issuance with several domestic and foreign banks.
