(MENAFN) Airbus plans to set new options for its engine that help reduce fuel burn by 15 percent if used in combination with its new Sharklets, according to Gulf News.
David Velupillail, Marketing Director, Airbus Corporate Jets, said: "We can deliver up to 15 per cent [in fuel savings] with the Sharklet and the new engine options which for any airline is absolutely huge considering they"re flying every day."
Airbus may reduce operating costs by 8 percent and decrease nitrogen oxide emissions by at least 10 percent.
