India's trade deficit at USD10.5 b in October


(MENAFN) Trade deficit of India reached USD10.56 billion last month as it increased its purchases of gold boosted during the festival season, according to Qatar News Agency. The country's deficit increased from USD6.7 billion a month earlier, its lowest since two years and a half. Last month, the huge amount of gold purchases increased the deficit to reach USD1.37 billion compared to USD800 million in September.
