Two Killed, Nine Injured in Bomb Explosions in Iraq


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) One soldier was killed and four others wounded when a roadside bomb went off today at Al Sinya district, north of Tikrit in northern Iraq. Police said that an explosive devise targeting an army patrol as it passed in the centre of Al Sinya district, went off killing one soldier, wounding four of the patrol's members and causing material damage to the patrol's car In a similar incident, six people were killed or wounded in a roadside bomb explosion in Abu Ghraib, west of Baghdad Police said the bomb exploded on the side of the road in the district of Abu Ghraib, killing two people and injuring four others.
