(MENAFN) Spanish electrical appliance maker, Fagor, announced that it filed for bankruptcy, Times of Oman reported.
The company, which manufactures washing machines, refrigerators and other appliances, couldn't reach a deal with creditors and was abandoned by its parent group, Mondragon.
The company said: "As of today, Fagor Electrodomesticos Coop. and its subsidiary Fagor Ireland have filed for bankruptcy protection from their creditors in the Commercial Court of San Sebastian."
