S. Korea's Top Nuclear Envoy to Visit China


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) South Korea's top nuclear negotiator, Cho Tae-yong, will visit China on Wednesday to discuss North Korea's nuclear issue Korea's Foreign Ministry said Cho will stay in China for two days and meet with his Chinese counterpart Wu Dawei to assess the status of Pyongyang's nuclear weapons development program, according to Korea's (KBS WORLD) website The ministry said the two officials will also discuss the issue of resuming the stalled six-way nuclear talks Cho's visit comes as Wu made a four-day trip to Pyongyang last week A Foreign Ministry official in Seoul said Cho will hold extensive talks with Wu on all issues concerning the Korean Peninsula The official also said Wu is likely to explain the results of his latest trip to Pyongyang.
