Investments in Oman's SIE go over USD259 m


(MENAFN) The director-general of Sumail Industrial Estate (SIE) in Oman said that investments went over USD259 million, Times of Oman reported. He said that Omani investments in the estate comprise 77.4 percent of the total, while foreign and Gulf investments form 15.4 percent and 7 percent respectively. The director-general said: "The figure is growing in line with the constant demand from investors for available space." The SIE has more than 175 units that house industries that include steel, building materials and chemicals.
