Iran's exports of electricity worth USD2 b annually


(MENAFN) Iran's exports of electricity reach what is worth USD2 billion every year, while electrical equipment costs USD3.1 billion, according to Tehran Times. The capacity of national power generation should be boosted by 5 gigawatts annually, suggests the Iranian deputy energy minister. Exporting technical and engineering services in the field of water and electricity to other countries is one of The Ministry of Energy's goals.
