(MENAFN) Work on the crude pipeline from Iraq to Turkey to increase its capacity will finish in the following few months, Times of Oman reported.
The oil flow through the Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline will be raised by 100,000 to 200,000 barrels per day (bpd) from the current 300,000 to 400,000.
The link between the two countries pumps at a much lower capacity than the designed 1.6 million bpd due to years of negligence following sanctions against the previous regime and more recent attacks.
