(MENAFN) Tristar Transport Company announced that it placed an order for six new tankers, Arabian Business reported.
The USD200 million order of the six fuel efficient and eco-friendly vessels from Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Mipo Dockyard is expected to be delivered by 2016.
The company stated: "Demand for this type of vessels has increased with new building prices rising by around 20 percent this year. High bunker prices make fuel economy a major factor at present and in the future."
