(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Oman's non-resident Ambassadors to Laos and Sweden presented their credentials on Sunday.
Choummaly Sayasone, President of Laos received H E Sheikh Sultan bin Saif al Mahrooqi at his presidential palace in Vientiane and King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden received in his office H E Khalid bin Sulaiman Ba Omar in Stockholm.
The Ambassadors conveyed the wishes of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said to the heads of the respective countries and its people.
President Sayasone and King Gustaf also conveyed their best wishes for the Sultan and for the people of Oman. Both the meetings reviewed bilateral ties.
The meeting between H E Omar and King Gustaf also discussed the tourism relations between Oman and Sweden.
The ceremony of presenting the credentials in Stockholm was attended by head of the Royal Protocols, the commander of the Royal Guard and personal secretary to the king.
