Japan Display applies for share listing


(MENAFN) The world's leading maker of displays for smartphones and tablets, Japan Display, applied for a share listing in Tokyo, The Peninsula reported. Sources close to the matter said the company made the decision hoping it would raise USD2 billion. The Innovation Network Corp of Japan owns 70 percent of the company, which was created last year in April from display units of Sony Corp, Hitachi Ltd and Toshiba Corp.
