JLR sales increase 21 percent


(MENAFN) Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), British luxury automaker, said that its sales in the fiscal year's second quarter soared 21 percent to 102,600 vehicles, Xinhuanet reported. JLR said that the quarterly results caused its revenues, of USD7.4 billion in the three months to September, to go up 40 percent from the corresponding period last year. JLR Chief Executive Officer said: "Our unrelenting focus on design, technology, innovation and quality has seen Jaguar Land Rover reach global consumers in more markets than ever before thanks to its most engaging product line-up."
