Oman inks pact with WB on sustainable fisheriesprogramme

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MoAF) has signed an MoU with World Bank on the Sustainable Management Programme for Fisheries.

A press release said the MoU was signed by H E Dr Faud bin Jaafar bin Mohammed al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries and Dr Jamal al Kabi, director of World Bank for GCC. It includes providing consultation and technical support for the programme and laying out a strategy for the sector.

The signing was attended by Dr Khalid bin Mansour al Zadjali, director general of planning and investment development and Saud bin Nasir al Badai, head of the office of the minister.
