Police nab man wanted in case involving KD 50,000 with bank


(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Kuwaiti citizen in his 30s was nabbed by Mubarak Al-Kabeer officers in possession of five bottles of imported liquor. Sources said the citizen was arrested by patrolmen late at night when he tried to escape after the officers found his vehicle parked on the roadside and approached him for checking; noting he was heavily intoxicated and police smelt liquor in his breath. They went on to search inside his car and found five bottles of imported liquor hidden in a bag. Initial investigation indicated the suspect peddled in liquor. He was referred to Drug Prosecution. Meanwhile, another citizen in a tinted-glass vehicle was apprehended after Mubarak Al- Kabeer patrol officers discovered that he was wanted for a KD 50,000 financial issue with a local bank. He was referred to the relevant authority for necessary action.
