Iran's Khorasan welcomes Iraqi trade delegation


(MENAFN) A trade delegation from Iraq's Kurdistan Autonomous Region went on Monday to Iran's North Khorasan province to meet with their counterparts, according to Iran Daily. The Iraqi delegation and their counterparts plan to strengthen trade transactions, said Seyyed Mohammad Ebrahim Husseini, the head of North Khorasan Industries, Mines and Trade Organization. Husseini added: "North Khorasan enjoys high potentials in the fields of production and industries, especially food products, which can further boost exports to the Kurdish region." Husseini hopes the trade transactions to reach USD20 million over the following few years.
