(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Brazil and Sudan have agreed to boost bilateral cooperation in oil and to take advantage of technology in the development of ethanol industry and the production of renewable energy.
The agreement culminated talks between Sao Paulo State's Secretary of Energy Jose Anibal and Sudanese Oil Minister Awad Al-Jaz, Sudanese radio reported
During talks, the two sides reviewed the potential of benefiting from renewable energy, especially as Sudan has a large sector of sugar cultivation, which are used in the production of ethanol
The two countries agreed to sign a work program on the implementation of protocols concluded between them.
