Iran's exports of textile see 13 percent growth in 6 months


(MENAFN) The Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade's Weaving and Textile Industries Department's director general said that the country's exports of textile saw a growth of about 13 percent in the six months to September compared to the same period in 2012, according to Tehran Times. The country's private sector owns more that 95 percent of textile production units. Ne'matollah Mardani said that the Textile industry forms 5 percent of investment making, 11 percent of production units and 12 percent of job creation in the national industry.
