Iran to deliver 25 m cubic meters of gas to Iraq daily


(MENAFN) Iran will finalize gas export to Basra, Iraq over the following two weeks, said a senior energy official, according to Iran Daily. Iran will supply 25 million cubic meters of gas every day to the power plant of the Iraqi city based on an agreement between the two countries. Hamid Reza Araqi, managing director of National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), said: "Based on the terms of the contract, Iran is expected to export 4 million cubic meters of gas in the first phase, which will surge to 25 million cubic meters."
