(MENAFN) The Dubai transport authority has awarded a contract related to the Dubai Water Canal project, Arabian Business reported.
The USD136 million contract for the first phase of the road and bridge network for the canal project was awarded to Gunal, a Turkish firm.
The canal is set to stretch three kilometers from the Business Bay to the Arabian Gulf, crossing Sheikh Zayed Road, Safa Park and Al Wasl Road.
