Saudi cement exports drop 55 percent in nine months


(MENAFN) Saudi exports of cement dropped by 55 percent reaching 245.000 tons in 2013 to the end of the third quarter compared to 547.000 tons during the same period in 2012, according to Arab News. Saudi Arabia imported 39.000 tons of cement during the same period, Al-Eqtisadiah Daily reported. The Kingdom ordered about 10 million tons of cement to meet its demand after the huge expansion projects and governmental infrastructure projects.
