Iran to build power plant in Kyrgyzstan


(MENAFN) Iran's Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian said that Iran eyes a hydroelectric power plant in Kyrgyzstan, according to Tehran Times. The minister said in a meeting that Iran is ready to rebuild 38 hydroelectric power plants in Kyrgyzstan. Iran has already launched 59 projects worth USD3.2 billion in Azerbaijan, Ethiopia, Armenia, Uzbekistan, South Africa, Afghanistan, Algeria, United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Sri Lanka, Syria, Iraq, Oman, Kenya, Lebanon, and Nigeria.
