(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Pakistani and an Indian suffered serious injuries when they exchanged blows after the latter overtook the former in a queue to buy chapatti in Fahaheel. Eyewitnesses disclosed the Pakistani was next in line to purchase chapatti but the Indian suddenly came and took the item, claiming that a worker at the restaurant gave it to him. A heated argument ensued and this led to a fistfight. Another customer called the Operations Room at the Ministry of Interior to report the incident. Securitymen rushed to the scene, along with a team of medical emergency workers. The officers intervened but the two already inflicted serious injuries on each other. They were referred to Adan Hospital.
Asian beats up elderly citizen: A Kuwaiti man filed a complaint at Fahaheel Police Station against an Asian who allegedly beat his father. The complainant, who went to the station with his elderly father, presented a medical report showing the injuries the latter suffered. He told police his father does not know the suspect. His father then provided police with a detailed description of the suspect and investigations are ongoing to arrest him. In an unrelated incident, a Bedoun lodged a complaint at Saad Al- Abdullah Police Station against his friend for allegedly beating him with the intent of killing him inside his house. Police summoned the suspect and investigations are in progress to verify the complaint.
Worker seriously injured: A 38- year-old who was seriously injured after he fell while on duty inside a garage in Amghara has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the Jahra Hospital, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. According to reports the victim sustained a fracture in his left arm, bruises and a cut in the face. He was taken to the hospital by paramedics.
