(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras met here Wednesday with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov .
During the meeting, Lavrov said that his country is exerting all efforts support Greece to overcome some difficulties in the economy by activating trade relations between the two countries
He reaffirmed the historical depth of the relations between Moscow and Athens and convergence of views on bilateral relations in addition to the regional and international events
For his part, Greek Prime Minister confirmed the continuation of the strategic relations between the two countries , pointing to the importance of activating the bilateral dialogue between the two countries .
