Such a step will help plan and implement a better budget", said the minister who was speaking at a workshop entitled 'Moving from strategy to Implementation', held here on Tuesday
The event was also attended by the Minister of Developmental Planning and Statistics Dr. Saleh Al Nabit
HE the Finance Minister said that the new budget for 2014 was sent to the ministries three weeks ago, to allow them to deliberate the budget and study it carefully
HE Al Emadi said that the work of the cabinet will see big changes in order to face some crucial challenges
His Excellency noted that the Ministry of Finance was following up the activities of other ministries, since it was the main financial supplier
He added that the majority of the strategies were loosely placed and needed clear figures in order to evaluate its success
The one-day workshop aimed at enhancing communication between different government institutions
The workshop reviewed Qatar National Vision 2030 and Qatar National Development Strategy 2011-2016
The workshop was organized by the General Secretariat for Developmental Planning.
