Saudi allocates USD17 b for transportation projects


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia plans mega transportation projects at USD17 billion this year, according to Arab News. A report by Kuwait Financial Center "Markaz" examined and analyzed the current status of Saudi Arabia Roads and Railways sector. The report showed that the Kingdom has allocated about USD17.3 billion, what forms a 16 percent rise compared to last year. Developing roads and constructing new ports will cost about USD8 billon of the budget.
