Japan's NTT acquires two cloud computing firms for USD875 m


(MENAFN) Japan's NTT Communications announced that it is acquiring two US cloud computing firms for USD875 million, Times of Oman reported. The group said that it's acquiring Virtela for USD525 and acquiring an 80 percent stake in RagingWire for USD350 million. The company said in a statement: "The acquisition (of RagingWire) will more than double NTT's data centre space in the US, which will enable the company to respond to high demand for data centre services in North America."
