(MENAFNEditorial) Taking place for the first time ever, under the banner of Oman's preferred higher education event GHEDEX, GHEDEX AUTUMN 2013 was inaugurated yesterday by H.E. Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Sarmi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education at 9:30am at the Oman International Exhibition Centre. Held under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education, the event will take place until today from 9:30 am to 1:00pm and 4:30pm to 9:00pm at the Centre.

Top-notch professional grade universities and colleges from top 7 higher education destinations will make their presence felt at GHEDEX AUTUMN 2013 including international participation from UK, USA, Malaysia, Australia, India and Germany and local participation from Oman. The event will see strong participation from Malaysia and Oman in particular, with healthy participation from the remaining countries.
Start preparing for the academic year 2014-2015!
With the year 2013 almost at an end, students and parents will no doubt be getting ready to gear up for the new academic year, with plans to seek and find the best possible college or university that will best serve the student's chosen career path. GHEDEX AUTUMN 2013 will give students and parents the perfect opportunity to seek information on admissions and put in their applications for admissions into institutions of their choice for the academic year 2014-15. It will also present the ideal occasion to visit or revisit select institutions which they may have missed at GHEDEX 2013.
